We're always looking for wagons for people to use when they go to our pumpkin patch - feel free to drop off your old or un-used wagons at the orchard!

We're also happy to take any picnic tables you're getting rid of - even if it's just the 'bones' of the table.

Take Hwy 51 North from Madison, go straight onto Hwy 22, turn east (right) onto Hwy 60 almost immediately. Drive 2 miles and go North (left) onto Kroncke Road. We're just over a mile on the left-hand side.

Apple Corn Flake Bars

Apple Corn Flake Bars

IMG_2404CRUST:

2 1/2 C. flour

1 C. crisco

1 T. sugar

1 tsp. salt

1 egg yolk & enough milk to make 2/3 Cup


FILLING:

5 C. apples (sliced)

1 C. sugar

2/3 C Corn flake crumbs

1 T. cinnamon

Dash of salt

Divide dough in half.  Roll out half to fit jelly roll pan.  Coat apples with sugar, flakes and cinnamon.  Put top on and seal.  Then brush with foamy egg white.  Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.  While still warm, frost with powdered sugar frosting.  Add a little lemon juice to it if you want.
