Blossom’s and New Photography Policy
I went for a walk through the orchard last night with my daughter and it looks to us like the blooms might start to pop around the first of May. They typically last two weeks but have lasted less than that in the past. Unfortunately I can’t schedule what the trees decide to do. Due to family obligations we have decided to change our policy for photo shoots in the orchard. Please carefully read below to see what our new policies are.
Photo Policy
Photographs are a wonderful way to remember your visit to Lapacek’s Orchard. We encourage visitors to take casual photographs of their visit for their own personal use during our hours of operation and would love if you tagged the orchard @LapaceksOrchard or hashtagged #lapaceksorchard on social media. But, if you are coming to the orchard for the purpose of taking posed photos of people - then you need a photo permit.

The Photography Guidelines outlined here are intended for all guests, but a permit is necessary for those who wish to use the Orchard setting as the background for posed photography. This would include wedding, family, engagement, graduation, prom, senior photos or the like. The permit is needed regardless of whether the photographer is a family member, professional, etc...
Photo Permit is for a one hour session. Click HERE for the PHOTO PERMIT APPLICATION. Please submit the Photo Permit Application with the fee to the Lapacek’s Orchard at least one week in advance. $30 fee payable by cash or check only - NO credit cards accepted.

- Many animals live at our orchard. They have jobs around the farm and we don’t cage them or put them away for photo shoots. In particular, our cats are very friendly and may photobomb your shoot. They also really like food and will eat any food not enclosed in a container. Please do not intentionally feed the cats.

Scheduling: Your posed photography session Your posed photography session will be scheduled at the convenience of the owners. In all cases, the photography session must be scheduled a minimum of one week in advance and begin and end within the allotted time. In the event of rain, you may reschedule your session. Lapacek’s Orchard reserves the right to cancel sessions at any time due to the needs of the orchard. Our number one priority is the health of our apples and there are times we need to treat them to keep them healthy which may create conditions not ideal for the public. We will do our best to give you as much notice as possible if this is to happen. If your session is cancelled because of the needs of the orchard you will have the opportunity to reschedule or be refunded your photo permit fee. Either the subject or the photographer may make the reservation. General Photography Guidelines apply. Lapacek’s Orchard LLC is not responsible for damage to any photography equipment and/or props.
