Blossoming Orchard
It’s for real this time! The orchard is in bloom!
Pip and I went for a walk in the orchard once Cedi and Capri got on the bus for school. Pip was in a good mood and I got some fun shots of her with the blossoms. Here are a few shots of the gorgeous brilliant pink blossoms from our Scarlet apple trees. We only have five of these guys but they sure are gorgeous! This was my favorite ‘pose’ of Pip’s on the walk. She did a great job walking all the way to the lookout!
I put my fish-eye lens on for a few pictures too…
So – since ‘Apple Blossom Days’ are over – and there were very few blossoms…we’re going to have a few *bonus* hours where you can come with your family to walk the orchard, take pictures, etc. The store will be open too so feel free to stop in and stock up on honey, canned goods, maple syrup, popcorn, soy candles, jewelry and quilted items…
Bonus Hours:
Thursday, May 16th from 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Saturday, May 18th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm
Sunday, May 19th from 2:30 to 5:30pm
Also – if you have a photographer that you love to use for pictures – make sure they know they’re welcome to use our orchard as a backdrop – I just need a phone call so I know who’s here.
