PLEASE HELP RECYCLE!
Drop off your plastic bags and canning jars at the orchard and we'll re-use them!
We're always looking for wagons for people to use when they go to our pumpkin patch - feel free to drop off your old or un-used wagons at the orchard!
We're also happy to take any picnic tables you're getting rid of - even if it's just the 'bones' of the table.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Cider After Dark - episode 25 - 30 recap
Since we have opened up for the 2019 apples season, Diane and I (Kim) have continued with our tradition of "Cider After Dark." Basically we take our unpasteurized, unpreserved apple cider and mix it with different alcohol's to see what delicious cocktail we can come up with next.
You can see all the episodes of "Cider After Dark' by heading to our YouTube Channel - Cider After Dark. You can also get your very own "Cider After Dark" swag on our zazzle site.
I wanted to create this post to summarize the different beverages we've tried so far this season and to make sure you watch at least the one where we make mojitos.
Episode 25 - Diane and I mixed cider with Black Magic Rum. We also saw if bitters made it better, worse, or didn't really change anything.
Episode 26 - Diane and I mixed apple cider with Double Chocolate 360. Again, we tried it with bitters - you'll have to watch to see what we thought!
Episode 27 - the Mojito episode. I think this may be my favorite episode of Cider After Dark yet! I seriously still laugh so hard I cry when I watch it! Be sure not to miss this one.
Episode 28 - Apple Pie on the Rocks ... a bit of cider, cinnamon, and vanilla - check out what we thought!
Episode 29 & Episode 30 go together. Episode 29 is where we start the prep work for our apple cider sangria. The apples need to marinate in the fireball for awhile before we finish off the recipe. In Episode 30 we add the rest of the sangria mixture and give it a try!
I have an idea what we're going to try mixing this week but I'm not 100% sure yet. Feel free to leave a comment if you know of an alcohol we should try mixing with alcohol ... just make sure it's not a milky product - that tends to curdle (see episode 8 ... whoops!)
