The final of the six mini pots of applesauce that I made on Monday was the Shizuka. We had just a few seconds left so I snagged three to make a little sauce to see how they cook. The Shizuka took awhile to cook down but it eventually did cook down to a nice chunkier applesauce. I really enjoyed the Shizuka applesauce. It was sweeter but still full flavored. Definitely a good apple for cooking.
