Saucesational – An Experiment in Applesauce: Snow Sweet

Using the Snow Sweet apples – one of our newer, extremely popular varieties – I made applesauce once again.  The apples cooked down somewhat but also stayed slightly chunky – a texture that would please most.  The color was decent – nothing spectacular but fine.  The sauce was delicious – a tangy, sweet, ‘apple-y’ taste.  Not quite as good as the mix but would definitely a fabulous sauce!
