Transplanting Season – Trees
This is the year we’re making the final transitional steps between the two orchards. One of those steps is transplanting the ‘younger’ apple trees from the old location to the new.Frank and his buddy spaded the trees out, burlapped bagged them, and put them on the trailer to bring to the Kroncke Road location. Jared, Frank, Diane and the girls transplanted them throughout the orchard. Later this month we’ll be getting in about 200+ new trees to plant (including 15 varieties that are new to our orchard). It’s fun to watch things growing! Get a first hand look at all that’s going on when you stop by our orchard for Apple Blossom Days!
